ElmerHi!! My name is Elmer and here is my sad story. Someone must have loved me at one time, but then my mom and dad didn't want me anymore so I went my own way to find someone to love me. Then I found my way to a rescue group who found me a home with a wonderful family, but, my mom got really sick and is in the hospital and my dad has his hands full and can't take care of me they way he wants to. I'm about 2 y/o, very sweet, affectionate, keep my space clean and would really love a permanent home and loving family. I'm coming along with my house training, but I need someone to take me in and out and tell me what a good boy I am. Do you have room in your heart and home for this 3 time loser? I'm so lonely. I'm a very good boy, but I will need a fenced yard. I am a beagle after all. I get along with other dogs and don't know about cats. I would make a wonderful pet for a variety of families. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
