My name is Garfield, my friends call me Gar Gar. Do you want to be my new family ? My siblings, Mom and Dad and I have found ourselves by no fault of our own in need of a safe place to land (not all together). You see our human Momma had to go to this place called Hospice. I'm a big fan or soft food if you can't tell by my roundness. I also love treats and catnip. I would LOVE a home with my siblings George and Tina but if you can't take us all I understand. Our friends at Making Miracles Animal Rescue are helping us out with assistance so if you think I'm the Kittay for you contact them ! We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: rescueme93@yahoo.com to see if that pet will be there. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees - Senior : 9 years & up $100-$250 (Price depends on individual circumstances) - Adult : 2 years to 8 years $325 - Young adult : 6 months to 2 years $350 - Puppy : 6 weeks to 6 months $375 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise. MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
