LadyI am a 4-5 year old beautiful, sweet natured Beagle wondering how I got to this web site. I once had a home with my daughter, Joy, (also available for adoption) when my parents had a new baby and decided to tie us outside. Then they moved away and decided not to take us with them. Why??? I am great with kids, other dogs and I love people. I'm crate and house trained, love to give and get affection and I'm just a great all around pet. I would make a welcome addition to a variety of homes, however I will need a fenced yard and I'd like to have some kids to play with. I am hoping that someone will please come along and see the great love I have and take me home soon because I have to stay at a kennel because there are a shortage of foster homes. Come and get me at Petsmart (Utica). I'm waiting for you. The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
