AidenHi everybody!!! My name is Aiden and I'm Awesome. I'm about 5 years old, good looking, a little on the portly side, and as friendly and eager as can be. Originally, I was with another rescue and kept in a kennel for a couple years without being listed on a website and no one knowing how desperately I wanted a forever home until my fairy godmother came along and saw my potential. I am a little intimidating when in a car or behind a crate fence (I snarl and huff and growl), but when I am not confined, I'm a true gentle giant who loves to play and give kisses and hugs. I am smart, eager to please, keep my kennel clean and love to be with people. I will need training but I do know some commands and am very quick to learn.I will be a lot of fun to to work with. Now that people know I am available for adoption and I start to get regular exercise and go to adoption events, I should slim down very quickly. Then won't I be the handsome one? I am very outgoing and friendly and will do well with adults and older children. I will probably do okay with some other dogs, but no cats and, I will definitely need a fenced yard. I'm praying that I will finally find my forever home and family. I have been locked away and forgotten for a long time, waiting for someone to call my own. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
