HI, MY NAME IS IZZY I'M A BEAUTIFUL 2 YEAR OLD FEAMLE COCKER SPANIEL WITH THE SWEETEST DISPOSITION EVER, EVEN MY VET SAYS SO, AND I SURE HAVE HAD TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME THERE. WHEN I WAS RESCUED, I WAS COVERED IN FLEAS AND I HAD JUST HAD PUPPIES. I TOOK REAL GOOD CARE OF MY BABIES, EVEN THOUGH I HAD A TUMOR WHICH MADE IT VERY PAINFUL TO FEED THEM. THEN I HAD TO HAVE 2 SURGERIES TO REMOVE THE TUMOR (BENIGN). EVEN THOUGH I'M IN A LOT OF DISCOMFORT, I'M STILL SWEET, LOVING AND TRUSTING. WHEN MY FOSTER MOM CLEANS MY WOUND AND GROOMS ME, I SIT QUIETLY AND LOOK AT HER WITH MY BIG HAZEL EYES AND SHE MELTS. I'M HOUSE AND CRATE TRAINED AND LISTEN VERY WELL. RIGHT NOW I HAVE TO STAY QUIET AND AWAY FROM THE OTHER DOGS AND KIDS, BUT I GET ALONG WELL WITH BOTH. I REALLY LOVE BELLY RUBS. I SHOULD BE READY FOR ADOPTION IN A COUPLE WEEKS, IF NOT SOONER, BUT I WILL NEED LOTS OF TLC. I'M NOT HARD TO TAKE CARE AND I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE. IF YOU CAN'T ADOPT ME, MAYBE YOU COULD HELP SPONSER ME WITH A DONATION. EVEN THOUGH MY MEDICAL BILLS HAVE BEEN VERY HIGH, MY RESCUERS DIDN'T GIVE UP ON ME. I WOULD DO WELL IN A VARIETY OF HOMES AS I AM SUCH A GOOD GIRL.
********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
