Wink came into rescue from a TNR initiative as a wee baby when she had been discovered after being attacked by another animal :( Her eye required several doctor visits and special attention and will need to be monitored for infection so experience with cats PLEASE, she would do best as an only pet. No small children. She is now Spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative and ready for her forever. Indoor only Please no small children or high energy dogs.
********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
